With AI technology it is now possible for scammers to create fake videos of famous celebrities and use that to create videos attempting to scam individuals. These videos in particular attempt to trick individuals into falling for fake investment opportunities. 

Common individuals used in these scam videos are Donald Trump, Kevin O’Leary, Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and many other well known figures and entrepreneurs.

How can you stay safe?

The best way to stay safe from this scam is to do your own due diligence. Moreover, even given the example here, we can see that the scam is offering an insanely unrealistic return for such a small investment. If it is too good to be true, it usually is.

Moreover, other examples are crypto doubling scams, where the scammer explains they will double any amount of crypto currency they receive from you. Again, if it is too good to be true, it probably is.
